Justice, Art, Memory (J.A.M.)™ Program
			The J.A.M program was established in 2010 to examine and explore how stories touching upon justice and memory are articulated in post-conflict Asian countries and the role that art – storytelling, photography and video-vignettes in this case – can play in bringing these stories to light.
The J.A.M Program will essentially focus on exploring the intersections of these three ideas and elements across Asia.
- • Use oral history and documentary photography as tools to record the post-conflict narratives of communities across Asia and where necessary, to assist communities already in the midst of narrativizing their experiences;

- • To identify cultures and communities that wish to orally and visually record their stories for education and outreach and to enable this process;

- • To foster narrative non-fiction writing in Asia;

- • To create a corpus of visual work with photographers and filmmakers across Asia;

- • To actively engage with localized approaches to storytelling in Asia.
